About the event
EACH MONTH - A NEW EXPERIMENT! Dr. Frank Einstein's Retro Movie Lab – Episode 4: The Invisible Man (1933)
Something has gone terribly... and hilariously... wrong.
Whether you're joining the experiment for the first time or returning to the lab for another month of questionable science, Dr. Frank Einstein's Retro Movie Lab is a one-of-a-kind live comedy experience where classic sci-fi and horror films collide with mad science, audience interaction, and an ongoing story that continues from month to month.
This August, the lab presents the legendary Universal classic The Invisible Man starring Claude Rains.
Dr. Frank Einstein is missing.
According to his brother, Dr. Einstein Einstein, he successfully turned Dr. Frank invisible with one of his own "brilliant" experiments. Gorf isn't convinced. As the evening unfolds, strange clues begin to suggest that something even more unbelievable has happened. Instead of simply disappearing, Dr. Frank may have become trapped inside the movie itself—the first real sign that the Retro Movie Lab experiment has finally begun to work.
As The Invisible Man unfolds on screen, Einstein Einstein enthusiastically takes credit for the Doctor's disappearance while Gorf tries to unravel what the machine has actually done. Through a series of live comedy skits woven throughout the film, the truth slowly emerges: the experiment is evolving in ways no one understands... especially Dr. Frank.
No previous episodes are required to enjoy the show, but returning "test subjects" will discover that the ongoing experiment has reached a major turning point.
Featuring live comedy, audience interaction, classic cinema, and wonderfully questionable science, The Invisible Man is another unforgettable chapter in the continuing adventure of Dr. Frank Einstein's Retro Movie Lab.
Will Dr. Frank find his way home?
Will Einstein Einstein ever stop taking credit for things he didn't do? Will Gorf be the only person making any sense... again?
Join us and find out.
Bad Movies. Live Comedy. Questionable Science.
